Actress Maria Bello, who most recently appeared alongside Hugh Jackman in Prisoners, recently opened up about her sexuality and revealed that she's currently in a relationship with another woman.
In an article she wrote for The New York Times, Maria told a beautiful story about coming out to her son Jackson. He's 12 years old, inqusitive, and very open minded. Bello implies that his acceptance may have something to do with attending "one of those progressive schools in Los Angeles!"
And after speaking with a therapist, her partner Clare, and her son, Maria now considers herself to be a part of a modern family. A family that includes Dan McDermott, Jackson's father, with whom they watch, go figure, Modern Family on the regular.
Maria has been a part of the Hollywood machine since 1996, but broke out with a role on the medical drama ER and Coyote Ugly.
