Police said in the capital of Thailand, has been fired after a day of political protests erupted into violence between supporters and opponents of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.

Overnight clashes left at least one dead and 35 injured. It is not clear if caused more injuries in the last shot.

Police say Colonel Narongrit Promsawat said there were "sporadic shooting" Sunday morning near the stadium where the battle occurred the previous day.

The violence has raised fears of instability again, like what plagued the country during the political conflict associated in 2006.2008 and 2010.

It is feared that more facial vowed Sunday when anti-government protesters to move forward with plans to take over the office of the Prime Minister maintained.
